As most people in the blogging community know, Pat Thibodeau, editor of the DC Blogs aggregator site, features blog postings he considers to be exceptional in nature each day. The much-more-popular Wonkette site, too, features special blog postings in its “metro section” later each day.

No problem there, right?

But increasing numbers of readers are noticing eerily similar selections and wording in the two sections. In fact, a couple of commenters on DC Blogs drew special attention to the situation yesterday. Big Head DC, though a wide-scale analysis of our own, can now confirm that Wonkette has copied Thibodeau’s work without giving him credit. The similarities are just too blatant to be coincidence.
