Both being high-profile politicians from Tennessee, Jay Leno tonight asked Fred Thompson whether he and Al Gore are friends. Thompson responded curtly that he considers Gore to be an acquaintance. He later promoted his Web site “I’m With Fred.” Got that? Not “I’m with Al.”
