This is what Jeane has told me too, and I tend to believe her. She has no intentions of contacting Larry Flynt, “he’s on another playing-field,” stated Ms. Palfrey. Indeed, what woman really would care for the kind of pornography that Mr. Flynt peddles, but we all know that he’s been one the most major defenders of the First Amendment, and it behooves him. You have his e-mail? ;0) Maybe we can induce some the “five confidential informants” to come forward and collect their $1 million, but federal prosecutors might just revoke their deals with them at that point. They don’t want to end-up like Ms. Britton, the sociology professor who committed suicide over her outing (don’t think it was Palfrey)in January.

Britton’s suicide probably had more to do with her losing her house than her outing. She refused to leave after the house was foreclosed upon. In fact, she could have lived in a smaller place and not had to turn tricks, but refused to move from her McMansion. A look at her work history (constant firings, false accusations, forged “studies” shows a personality so violatile that suicide seemed a logical end even if there was no prostitution and no outing.

Anyway, no one really had to “out” Brandi. I live a mile away from her — she was pretty out in these parts. She had her pic in Yahoo personals and a Web site with photos — pretty much everyone knew who she was and what she did.
