In a follow-up to the widespread XM cancellations following the satellite radio company’s suspension of “Opie & Anthony,” Big Head DC has now witnessed several angry people smashing their satellite receivers on the streets of Washington near the XM studios.
“I won’t put up with this shit,” one protester told us. “I’d rather break the thing than have the government control my subscription service.”
Many listeners believe that federal involvement in the much-hyped XM merger with Sirius was a mitigating factor in the suspension.
Now, we’ve learned, some former XM subscribers are planning a class-action lawsuit against the satellite radio company for violating its own adult content policy. Stay tuned…
