Good times for a good cause last night at the 18th annual Roast for Spina Bifida, where CBS’s Bob Schieffer was supposed to be the roastee of honor. But it was Tony Snow, amid his recent fumbling of FoleyGate, who ended up on the receiving end of a few sharp jabs. Recap from Extreme Mortman:
Mark Shields, at the roast of CBS News’ Bob Schieffer for the Spina Bifida Association, introducing White House press secretary Tony Snow by noting he worked for Fox News then the Bush Administration: “What a 180-degree turn that must have been, Tony.”
Tom Daschle called Snow President Bush’s spokesman, “which is what I said four years ago.”
Ha. Cool.
