Ana Marie Cox’s personal Web site theanticmuse.com, which she had controlled forever, like since before Wonkette was even a twinkle in her wild eyes, has been stolen. She had been using the site to promote her new book, but we guess that she forgot to re-up her account because some company in Vancouver, Washington now owns the name. The company’s phone number turns up a list of Internet scams, and the new site now points to a bunch of random BS links. Ana could not be reached for comment on this developing story, but we are pissed. How could she have let this happen? Too busy partying with FOX News? Um, c’mon.
