It seems that the hot, hot MSNBC Hardball correspondent is finally settling down. According to this week’s Reliable Source, all it took was a White House Correspondents’ Dinner after-party, hosted by Bloomberg at the at the Macedonian Embassy, to help tame the beast. Amy Argetsinger and Roxanne Roberts report:
[T]he action is always at Bloomberg’s bash: Last year, Bloomberg booker Julianna Goldman, 25, and MSNBC’s David Shuster, 38, met at the party’s fab ice chandelier; in January, he proposed at the same site. And yes, they made the list this year.
“It’s about time,” says one tipster. “But who knows how long it will last?” The same person inexplicably ponders whether Julianna has ever been forced to shave his back.
We are shocked, but happy, to learn of this delightful news. We’ll have our tux ready, just in case we get invited to the wedding shindig, which no doubt will be brimming with celebs, like Colin Powell’s daughter, bronze medal figure skater Debbie Thomas and maybe even TIME’s Ana Marie Cox. We can’t wait for the invite.
Still, given the naughty glint that we have sometimes caught in Shuster’s eyes, we can’t help but wonder what they’re putting in the water at at the Macedonian Embassy these days.
Good luck, Julianna. (You’re gonna need it.)
